He shrugged. "Well, being around you could help."

She nodded slowly, still wary of him.

He smiled. "I want to help you with it. What caused it anyway?"

She looked down at the ground, then whispered, her voice barely audible, "My father.."

Shadow frowned. "That is really bad. I'd really like to get you to trust those men that are worth trusting."

Aya looked up at him, then looked away again. She scooted away from him. "I just can't.. it's.. really hard to."

He looked at her. "Well, the first step is to be able to be near a guy."

She looked up at him, then slowly scooted closer. "True.. I don't mind talking to guys.. just... being near them.." She shuddered.

He nodded. "Well, staying near me should help."

She scooted a little close to him, almost touching him. She felt odd being this close to a guy, but she wanted to get over her past...

He smiled and gentlytouched her arm.

She tensed up and froze, but ddint' move. She looked up at him, slightly relaxing.. She didn't know why, but she trusted him a bit more than most guys..

He smiled and got closer to her, hoping she would grow accustomed to him.

(9We were sent to the cave and Shadow is helping Aya)

"All Dwarf here" the rather small but husky man said. He didn't like Elves to clean for his taste. He picked up his big pack and walked over to the nearest cutout part of the wall. He always had this pack around him in case he needed it.

A few moments passed and he came out. He was in a full set of Mithril plate mail with a golden stlyling on it, the symbol on it was probably his clans symbol, he had on his back a mithril shield and also a sheathed sword on his side it was glowing and was also made of mithril.

"You can never be to prepared" he said walking back over and to him this was light armor.

peryn had listend in on what the others talking, these people seemd okey "my name is peryn, one of the fiermages" the old lady seemd like she was sleeping. peryn walked over to her "exuse me but could you eksplain whats going on here?" the old lady woke up and smiled to evryone. "yes i can eksplain. i summoned you all because you are all chosen to ride the ancient dragons again"

Adara stood just out of sight, near the entrance to the cave, grinning. "Maybe I don't have to take them all out one by one..save some time, and I won't have to worry about my acting. She whispered into Thorn's ear, and he nodded. She got on his back, and he, making sure not to be noticed, breathed his poisonous breath into the cave. Then took off. Adara chuckled. She jumped off Thorn, and landed in a roll then on her back a short distance away. Thorn kept flying till he was no longer visible. Adara waited to see how the riders reacted.

Appolyon sniffed the air. "Anyone notice anything funny about this air. It seems like I am back in the mines at my home."

Shadow snarled. "Poison!" He turned into a mist form and moved the poison out and used his body as a natural blockage to the poison at the cave mouth. "That better?"

Adara kicked a rock and cursed when she realized they survived it. "Drat....time for plan B."

"I kind of liked the air. It was nice and dank and like i said reminded me of home"

He sighed. "Well, it would have killed even a dwarf."

Aya barely noticed him now, but she looked at Peryn, acknowledging that he was there. she stared at the dwarf, then looked at the old woman in dismay. She couldn't believe it.. but, it would make her life more interesting. She smelt the air shift, but didn't move. She was accostumed to poisons, her brother had helped with that.

He felt the poison dissipate and went back to normal. He went back over to Aya and stood next to her.
