Vampyre Slayers

Michael left the building. He found the blood trail and followed it. "You arenot getting away that easily."

"I'm sorry."

I sat back down next to Katie, and looked at her. "It's alright..let's try not to worry about the slayers right now...I think you need sleep."

I shook my head, "Don't worry, I'll be fine."

I was silent for a moment, thinking. I decided not to push her..so I nodded. "Alright."

I hissed and chased after him. "I'm serious you do not want to step into my territory!"

Michael was stating to get very irritated. "Fine...how about we play one of my favorit games. Its called Who Is the Better Killer. The rules are simple. Who kills the most wins." He looked at her. His face showed that he was not joking.

I positioned my legs, so I was now sitting pretzel style, and squeezed my eyes shut. I let my arms lay across my legs, and I had my head down....going into a meditation..but got distracted by the sound of voices a bit of a ways off. I hissed quietly to myself, and shot to my feet. It sounded to much like the hunters...and one said something about...killing.

I got up at the sound of her hiss. I walked to where she was and played with my claws. "I know I am injured but your not going alone."

I nearly jumped when he came up behind me. I looked at him and sighed. "I never can keep you from a fight, can I? Alright...just be careful." I listened carefully, so I wouldn't be caught off guard when the hunters found this building.

"Nope not til you put the lid on my coffin for the final time."

I moved out of the room to outside, I need to be less confined.

I turned to face him, and put one finger to his lips for a split second, then dropped it. "I'm trying to lis-" I cut off when I saw Katie slip out. "Oh, crap.." I whispered.

I sat down outside in the woods, regaurdless of who could be coming after me.

I kiss her finger jokeingly and smile. I whisper to her. "Let me go I wanna play."

I glared at him when he kissed my finger..I could have smacked him then..but I decided against it. Instead I put a hand on his chest...as if that would hold him where he was. "As much as I hate the word, let's be patient for a moment.." I kept my hand on his chest, and closed my eyes..listening carefully...I'd hear the hunter's approach...I'd know when to attack...or if they got to close to Katie.

I smirk and whisper noticing how she kept her hand there. "Oooh, I new you couldn't wait to get your hands on me again."

I let out a low hiss that only he could hear, and dropped my hand, my eyes still closed. "I swear you're impossible." I muttered, still trying to listen for the hunters.

I smiled and decided to see just how much I could push my luck. I kissed her on the cheek and smirked.

My eyes shot open, they were red now, I was beyond annoyed...I was getting pissed. I got my face in his face, so it was inches away. My fangs were all the way out. "I suggest you leave me alone when I'm trying to concentrate...when I'm concentrating on something important, I have no sense of humor." I snapped at his nose, then turned away from him, grabbing the gun off the wrack again.

I laughed. If he only knew. "I already know who the better killer is." I grinned.

I got up and walked deeper into the forest. I wanted to try and talk to the hunters, to let them see the truth about us.

I saw katie leave. "Go get Katie, Our little vampire peacemaker is going to get herself killed out there." I walked into the woods and when I had gotten near a large rock I dragged the claws accross the stone. Making sure the hunters heard it.

I nodded, still rather pissed off, but concentrated now on getting to Katie, and trying to convince her to come back. I soon found Katie, and gently put a hand on her shoulder. "Katie..think about this..please..they aren't as kind and loving..and willing to make peace as you are.."

"Talk is cheap, and my time isexpencive. Prove it." He went into the building.
