Grace nodded.

Appolyon left and a few moments later returned with a girl. He was smiling

It was amanda. Grace got up. "you are menas." she smiled.

Amanda nodded. "because of you. thank you."

Grace spoke again. "you are persephone, wife of the underworld"

"I always said master would get a wife someday"

Grace smiled. "and you said you'd never love." they laughed.

amanda looked at him. "and who do you love?"

"I love no one. None at all" Appolyon said

Amanda looked at him and giggled. "sad, i will have to tell my husband," she smiled and disappeared.

Grace looked at him. "how can you not love, or even lust?" she asked.

"I just don't and never will. I unlike Hades am not good enough even my sister Eris will probably find love. I will not. For who could love DEATH"

Grace walked up to him and touches his chest. "i could. i am goddess of love. i can do that for you. i can love you."

"Aphrodite I am Death. I am all that death is. I serve Hades. He may be able to love but he is only the ruler of the underworld. He never leaves that nice little throne to do what I do. I have done many things and will do many more things for eternities to come. I will take children, old people, babies, mothers, fathers, husbands, wives..." he sighs, "Besides why would the goddess of love, Love the one thing that no one loves, some embrace death like Amanda or should I say persephone did but no one can say they honestly love DEATH"

He begins to fade away and walk away

she followed him and grabbed him. "do you not understand what I AM? i am love, i am what makes the things you take, its a cycle." she held his shoulders.

"Yes that it is. You create the bonds of love that I break." he said with an icy voice, "Now if you don't mind I have more bonds to break"

He kept on walking

she let him go. this was a first that someone didnt want her. she actaully felt a bit hurt.

He thought to himself as he was walking She will never know what it is like to be me. To have to kill. I love it and as a god it is my job to do so but no one will ever know the pain of being DEATH. To have to constantly take away loved ones. I guess this is why I have become so cold

she felt anger rise in her heart and she looked for the next person on his list and beat him to her. "Do you want to live longer?" the girl nodded. "good." she turned her into stone, just for the mometn, he couldnt take that.

He got to his next victim. He growled "APHRODITE WHAT DID YOU DO?"

she looked at him. "i dont know what you are talking about." she said as she faded away.

ppolyon faded along with her into the god realm. He was now his true self Thanatos. He looked at Aphrodite, "You will change her back so I can do my job or I will have Zeus strip your power. Remember my boss is his brother"

she roller her eyes. "point? you know he wont."

Thanatos walks over to Aphrodite and starts choking her, "Turn her back and let me do my job"

"this isn't very convincing." she said as he choked her.

He tightens the grip until he can feel the trachea of her through starting to compress.

this was actually pissing her off. she touched him on the hips and he was threw 10 feet away.

I got up and cracked my neck, "Which would you prefer Aphrodite or Grace? I would like to chat with you for a moment"

Grace looked at him. "does it matter?"
